22. July - Faster printing
Drop off in seconds
Have items to register quickly? Use the new Drop Off feature to register them in just a few clicks.

Once saved, Circle-Hand sends a receipt to the client and prints the barcodes. This makes it easy to confirm items fast and share a confirmation receipt before adding more details like the price.
Faster label printing
Labels are now created immediately after you register items. When generating labels, Circle-Hand shows all labels that are ready but haven't been printed yet, so you won't miss anything. You can turn this off under Settings > Store > Tools > ‘Automatically create labels after item creation’.
Weight & SKU for Shopify
Add weight to items to get accurate shipping costs. You can also enable a separate SKU field that's used by Shopify. Thanks to Circular Company and other stores for the suggestion.
Filter active clients
You can now filter by active clients in the client view. This shows only clients who have items in stock or that are sold, but haven't been paid out yet. Thanks to Dandelion Kids and other stores for the suggestion.
Reply to store email
When clients reply to notification emails, replies now go straight to your store email address instead of Circle-Hand's support. Thanks to Willow & Eve and other stores for the suggestion!
More improvements
- Item status is now included in item exports for easier analytics. Thanks to CoutureUSA and other stores for the suggestion.
- Direct purchase price syncs with Zettle as item cost.
26. June - QR Code
QR Code for Client Portal
Put up your QR code in your store so delivery clients can scan it and create a profile right away. They can also add their payout info. This helps avoid mistakes like wrong email addresses or missing details.
You can find your personal QR code under Settings > Client Portal.
Price Suggestions & Background Removal
We have made our automatic price suggestions even more accurate. Now the prices suggested match better with similar items.

The background removal tool has already been used by many stores and on thousands of images. It is still in beta and free to use. Try it out and see if it fits your workflow. It can help you get product photos ready for your online shop faster and with less effort.
Quantities
We made some updates around item quantities:
- If an item has a quantity of e.g. 10, it will now print 10 labels
- If you change the quantity of an existing item, that change will now be sent to Shopify too
- Delivery clients can now add quantities when creating items, and those show up in the Client Portal Set Default Costs Do you always subtract the same costs for all items? Now you can save your default cost settings under Settings > Store > Default Costs.
If you do not use this feature at all, you can hide it under Settings > Store > Attributes.
More Improvements
We added more improvements to make your day-to-day with Circle-Hand smoother:
- Notes in the client view are now larger and easier to read
- In the item table, you can filter by “Direct Purchase” and “Consignment”
- If you have a discount rule set up (for store or delivery client), it will now be applied automatically Your default sales channel, store or online, will also apply to accepted items from delivery clients
- Some improvements in data import
- Full address now shows up on delivery receipts

Smart Price Suggestion
Circle-Hand now helps you find the right price for new items based on what you have sold before. The suggestions match the item’s category and brand, and you can apply them with just one click. This makes pricing clearer and quicker.

Background removal
Are you using Photoroom to remove backgrounds? You will not need that anymore. You can now remove photo backgrounds directly in Circle-Hand. Just drag your image into the “Remove Background” area, and the background will be taken out automatically.
To make sure as many shops as possible can use this, we decided to offer it for free during the beta phase for a limited time, across all plans.

Square x Circle-Hand
We have been working on this partnership for a while, and with our latest update, it is finally here: Circle-Hand fully integrates with Square now!
Why do so many shops use Square POS? there are no monthly fees ($0/month) transaction costs are low easy to use and quick to set up
To start selling, all you need is an iPad or smartphone + Square card reader
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to use Circle-Hand with Square (Did I mention how easy it is?)

PS: With Circle-Hand you can even use Square as your POS and Shopify as your online store, at the same time. Circle-Hand will keep both in sync!
25. May - Payout automation
Payout export for Bank Transfer & PayPal
Doing payouts one by one takes time. You can now create an export for all payouts via PayPal or bank transfer with a single click. Just upload the file to PayPal and process all payouts at once without any extra fees. Go to Clients > Manage Clients > Export, choose your method, and download the file.
Tip: Limit your default payout method under Settings > Store > Default, so clients can enter their bank or PayPal details when they create a profile via the client portal.Who covers discounts? (store vs client)
You can now decide whether discounts are covered by your store or shared with the client. Set the default under Settings > Store > Default. For more control, enable the attribute ‘Discount covered by’ and decide per item. You can still use a comment like #store directly in your Shopify or Zettle POS to set it. Charge fees on payouts with surcharges Need to deduct cleaning, delivery, credit card or authentication fees? You can now add services like “Cleaning Fee” as items with a surcharge such as $15, that gets subtracted from the payout. Add a new item and enter the service charge. It will appear on the payout receipt.If you do not need it listed on payout receipts, you can enter the surcharge directly at item level. This avoids extra steps and just subtracts the surcharge from the payout.

Export all client data under Settings > Store, scroll to the bottom. Great for analytics or CRM campaigns Create items in parallel Your team can add items with your team at the same time. Barcodes are auto-detected, even if someone else is working in parallel. This makes intake much faster for teams.
26. March - Quantities

The most requested feature of the past 3 months is here: Quantities 🎉
Got 20x of the same item? You can now set the quantity per item — no more duplicates. Same barcode.
Selling with Circle-Hand, Zettle, or Shopify? Item quantity now stays in sync with Circle-Hand automatically.
This one was a bit tricky to develop, so it took some time. Thanks for your patience, your feedback — and for being part of Circle-Hand!
11. Feb - New Features

Shopify variants & bidirectional sync
You can now edit variants, images, prices, compare-at-prices, and other fields directly in Shopify, and Circle-Hand will sync the changes automatically. Shopify released a new API in January, and we used this opportunity to introduce some improvements. One big update is bidirectional synchronization.
The purchase price for direct purchase items now sync with Shopify. Thanks to Collin from STOKED for the suggestion!
Circle-Hand also sends all product attributes as tags to Shopify (Settings -> Shopify). If you want to add custom tags, you can enable this under Settings -> Store -> Attributes.
Customize payout methods
You can now set the payout methods under Settings -> Store. This is especially useful if you use the client portal—new sellers can create a profile and only choose from the payout methods you allow.Price finder
We have added more platforms like eBay, StockX, and ThredUp to the price finder, making it even easier to check pricing. You can enable the marketplaces that matter to you under Settings -> Store -> Tools. Thanks to Philipp from ATAuktion for the suggestion! The search now also adapts automatically to your selected country.Store credit in notes
Transactions related to store credit are now automatically saved in the notes field. This makes it easier to track when and how much credit has been adjusted. Thanks to Anja from Manja-Children-Secondhand for the idea!Add items in parallel
Your entire team can now add new items at the same time. Previously, barcodes had to be entered manually—now, automatic barcode generation takes care of that.Faster load times
The AI image recognition is now 33% faster. As more and more shops use Circle-Hand, we have improved overall performance. The customer view now loads 84 times faster.Other improvements
Item selection is no longer kept when switching pages. This prevents mistakes, like accidentally deleting items that were still selected on another page.
Under Statistics, you can now see the total payouts for the day.

Payouts made simple
You can now activate a feature in the client portal that allows your delivery clients to request payouts themselves. Enable this option under Settings -> Client Portal. We have improved the client portal to give you and your delivery clients more flexibility: Old URLs are automatically deactivated; You can decide whether newly added items are consignment or direct purchase; and display your clients’ store credit in their login. You can find all settings under Settings -> Client Portal.Adjust taxes and VAT margin scheme
You can now adjust taxes under Settings -> Store. This is perfect if you don’t pay taxes or you’re based in 🇺🇸 or 🇨🇭 and want to disable the VAT margin scheme (differentiated taxation). This saves you extra adjustments in the tax export and makes tax management even easier.Manage new goods with Circle-Hand
Manage new goods directly with Circle-Hand. Under Settings -> New Goods, you can assign a delivery client for new goods and automatically calculate the correct tax. Use the “Compare at Price” field under Settings -> Store -> Attributes to keep track of purchase prices and offer discounts more easily.
